Solar Power On the Rise in North Carolina

Duke Energy Corp. recently announced plans to build 2 large solar projects in Monroe and Mocksville, North Carolina.  The 2 solar projects, the first owned and operated by Duke Energy Carolinas, will have a combined capacity of more than 75 megawatts.  The announcement comes as somewhat of a surprise to many, as North Carolina’s 35% investment solar tax credit sunsets at the end of this year.  To read more, please see: http://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/news/2015/12/16/duke-energy-charlotte-nc-solar-projects.html
