Chad Cochran Joins Post-Judgment Legislative Task Force

After lawsuits come judgments.  In the civil world, judgments often include a court award of monetary damages.  The judgment creditor then holds certain rights to collect the debt owed.  North Carolina’s laws underlying this enforcement regime are somewhat antiquated.  In hopes of modernizing the laws, Chad joins a group of respected colleagues who hope to draft and forward proposed legislation to the North Carolina General Assembly.
