Foreign Judgments in North Carolina

Hannah Sheridan Loughridge & Cochran is in the process of domesticating several foreign judgments (i.e., out of state judgments) to the North Carolina courts on behalf of our clients.  47 states have enacted the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act.  While the rules are the same, every judgment has a story of its own.
