North Carolina Experiencing Steady Decline in Unemployment
The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics is reporting that North Carolina’s unemployment rate, as of August 2013, is 8.7%. This represents the lowest rate of unemployment seen in North Carolina since December of 2008. As compared to the 11.3% unemployment rate experienced during the height of the recession in February, 2010, this figure serves as positive evidence that North Carolina is heading the right direction. www.bls.gov
