Nan Hannah Receives Prestigious North Carolina Bar Association Award

A legal career filled with community service resulted in yet another award for Nan E. Hannah.  On November 19, 2014, the North Carolina Bar Association Award presented Nan with a Recognition Award stating, “With Deep Appreciation for Your Visionary Guidance and Leadership in Founder’s Many Years of Service – Law Related Education – Sweet Sixteen Awards.”  Nan served as Founding Chair of Lawyers in the Schools, a group which originally began as a means to introduce North Carolina schoolchildren to the legal profession.  Over the years, the group expanded its scope such that it is now named the Law Related Education Advisory Committee.  Of course, Nan has been a vital part of the growth over the years.
