Layne joined the firm in September 2019 and is responsible for construction and business law client representation. He received his Juris Doctor in 2019 from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Layne currently serves as the North Carolina Bar Association’s legislative committee chair and was named a 2024 “North Carolina Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. He also served as an ambassador with the Cary Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of Leadership Cary.
