Telecommunications Provider Bringing More Jobs to Durham

Frontier Communications Corporation, a Connecticut-based telecommunications provider that offers services in 15 countries, announced plans to expand its operations in the Triangle.  Earlier this month, Frontier revealed plans to add 200 jobs in Durham, North Carolina in order to establish a technical support center.  Last year, Frontier selected Durham as the first market where it launched its gigabit-speed Internet service.  This most recent expansion will nearly double the number of Durham-based Frontier employees.
