North Carolina Unemployment Falls in August
North Carolina’s unemployment rate fell to 4.6%, the lowest since April of 2007. While that appears, on its face, to be good news for the people of North Carolina, the numbers can be a bit misleading. Although the number of unemployed North Carolinians fell, so too did the number of employed people in North Carolina, generally in the governmental sector.
