Problem solving meets critical thinking
Jared is passionate about continuing his contract specialty, but specializes in all areas of law at Hannah, Sheridan, & Cochran. Jared’s enthusiasm for law and life is infectious and he looks forward to helping HSC clients navigate their legal needs.
From Maryland to North Carolina
Jared grew up in Maryland, but fell in love with North Carolina when he visited Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. After completing his undergraduate degree in Political Science & International Studies, he pursued his passion of completing his law degree. At Elon University’s School of Law, Jared participated in the Innocence Project as well as the Moot Court Board.
An Editor and Philanthropist
Jared was featured as the Editor-in-Chief of the Elon Law Review, a distinguished honor and privilege. His groundbreaking work on Sovereignty as Space was featured in Elon Law Review’s Volume 14. He also volunteered at the Elon Law Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic where he helped clients going through the immigration process. From advice letters to completing documents, Jared helped folks navigate the immigration maze.
Out of This World Experience
When Jared is not in the office, exploring the outdoors or taking care of his 2 cats, you can find him researching sovereignty in space. There is no claim for sovereignty in space and surprisingly few laws regulating ownership/conduct in space. Who knows, maybe soon HSC will be adding “Space Law” to our practice areas.
