A Fresh Perspective
One of our newest team members, Carter is already making an impact at Hannah, Sheridan, & Cochran. While his practice at HSC spans multiple areas, he is particularly interested in wills, estates, wealth management, and trusts.
North Carolina Native
Carter grew up in Cary, North Carolina, where he attended Cary High School and
excelled at multiple sports. Carter then took his talents to Campbell University, where he played football, before transferring to North Carolina State University to earn a B.S. in Political Science. After graduating from N.C. State, Carter continued his education at the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in Raleigh.
Committed to Education and Advocacy
While at Campbell Law, Carter was a class representative for Campbell’s Student Bar
Association, sat on numerous committees, and was actively involved in Campbell Law’s
nationally ranked Advocacy Program. His Pro Football Contract Negotiations team placed in the top 10 nationwide.
In the classroom, Carter was awarded the prestigious Book Award for earning the highest grade in his Estate Planning class. Making this achievement even more impressive is the fact that he did it while also obtaining a Master of Trust and Wealth Management degree from Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business— graduating Summa Cum Laude from that rigorous program.
Forever a Wolfpack Fan
Outside of the practice of law, Carter enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid fan of N.C. State Athletics. When he’s not watching the Wolfpack compete or hanging out with his family, Carter enjoys reading and playing tennis. He’s also passionate about community involvement and participated in this year’s Raleigh Planning Committee.
