World Games

Hannah Sheridan & Cochran, LLP is proud to be a sponsor of North Carolina’s bid to host the 2027 FISU World University Games. As part of that effort, Nan Hannah, in her role as Chair of the Triangle Sports Commission, participated in several events, including a farewell reception, for the Technical Site Visit team from FISU (the international organizing body for the World University Games). This team, accompanied by the local organizing committee’s chair, Hill Carrow, spent a week touring the facilities proposed for use in the 2027 Games. The sites include universities in the Triangle, the Triad and all the area in-between those two metropolitan regions. We at HSC plan on being actively involved throughout the bid process and in organizing the Games. The competing bid organization is Chungcheong Megacity located in the Republic of Korea.
